I love this movie and lament that Hollywood STILL hasn't caught anime fever. Where are Pixar and Dreamsworks movies for mech adoring adults? In any case unlike some anime out there, this one isn't so far out there that it goes over your head.
It is simple and has simple characters. What it lacks in story complexity it makes up for it with action and colour. Makes me ache for a Ghost in the Shell CG anime... if only.
