Surprisingly more thrilling than it is made out to be, "Apollo 18" actually builds on its interesting premise to produce a some cheap chills. Although the found footage seems stale and overused, the old fashioned camera styles employed here make it more bearable than it ought to have been.
It's definitely not great, and you have to ignore the pretty rubbish creatures at its heart to really get into the scares, but it has enough schlocky scares to make it a worthwhile adventure when you don't want to use your brain.
