Review of Apollo 18 (2011) by Ryan G — 18 Oct 2012
Well this movie is not entirely scary. Nope. In fact it starts of slow. The first 60 of its 90 minutes sets up the stage for a horrific ending. So you might find yourself wondering off not paying attention.
Its filmed in a documentry slash BlairWitch format and not to mention black and while film. The last 30 minutes make up for the nap you took initially the first hour. What I liked most about the movie is that actual footage from NASA and JFK were used to blend in with the movie.
A written statement is written on behalf of NASA right before the ending credits, and its a theory or explanation on what happened on this mission. I found it to be somewhat funny and scary too. Would I recommend this movie ? If you have the time and if you have a soft spot for Science Fiction horror then YEs by all means go out today and rent it.
