Interesting, mostly just because it's really different, but everything is explained so badly, and there's not really any major twist where I'd be like "okay, that's cool." You don't find anything out about the infection.
..it's said that it's extraterrestrial, but how did it get there? Why weren't there problems with the other Apollo missions if it was there the whole time? Why did DoD send the astronauts if they knew it was there? What were the emitters supposed to do? They mention them like 50 times throughout the film, but I still don't know their purpose.
What trashed their landing site? Why were the Russians on the moon at the same time? I have so many questions, but no answers are given or even really implied for these questions.
