Review of Apollo 18 (2011) by Anand K — 08 Jul 2013
Not as bad as critics had said it was but that's down to personal choice. Still it ain't good either but like any addictive substance it keeps you hooked, more out of curiosity just to see what is killing these astronauts.
The movie is played out in a sequence of edited footage leaked out onto the World Wide Web. Think Blair Witch & Cloverfield & you're right there except like its two predecessors you won't get that feeling of motion sickness.
Officially Apollo 17 was the last manned mission to the Moon but as this footage proves there was an Apollo 18 which remained top secret. As the movie tag says "There was a reason we never went back" & it was because of an alien presence.
This raises more questions like did they arrive there or were these spider-like rocks indigenous to our satellite? All in all despite being only 80 minutes long it's a slow movie & simply drags & save for a few moments where it actually makes you jump nothing happens at all.
