Review of Apollo 18 (2011) by Brandon W — 06 Sep 2014
Apollo 18 is a found footage movie that doesn't make any sense. There are so many questions that weren't answered, and consider that it's "found footage," I don't see how it is.
The beginning was dull, and it's like the filmmakers don't know how to make a proper introduction. Things kind of kick in in the middle, but I had to go through a boring beginning to a middle where things are going on a little.
The scares are limited, there's like three or four scares in the movie, and they all weren't effective to me. The best part are 10 minutes in the end where things go crazy and it got me interested, and then it also got me confused.
The effects were nice for what it is, but at this point, the movie is just a bunch of nothing going on. There are some stuff going on, but I didn't get that invested into it. The movie was too late to do something interesting.
