Review of Apollo 13 (1995) by Paul B — 15 Aug 2009
What a great film about our nation during a time of crisis before a president lied to us and southeast Asia bogged us down.
The attention to detail we see throughout this movie is stunning.
The emotions are brought out in full as the indivdual astronauts, their families, the nation, and world are brought into the mix in a perfect manner. The invlovement of the familes is what makes this movie so special.
There aren't any scenes or moments that are unnecessary as the movie takes you quickly from poignant moment-to-moment without missing a beat.
This movie makes you proud to be an American, and at the same time wish for better times in our country's history.
