Review of Apollo 13 (1995) by Cristian R — 09 Sep 2010
An absolutely, truly emotional film that follows the crew of "Apollo 13" and their accidental disaster. The film stays true to the disaster with a serious cast that includes one of my favorite actors, Tom Hanks from Forrest Gump, re-teaming with Gary Sinise.
What's not to hate about this film? Everything gets so intense after the accident occurs, even though we all already know the impact of Apollo 13. The film features a good score to follow the drama of the film.
The special effects in the film are truly amazing, having been nominated for best visual effects at the Oscars. Apollo 13 is one film that cannot be missed by any American. The ending will make you cry.
If not, you were then not touched by the emotional feeling of the film.
