Review of Apollo 13 (1995) by Isaac M — 02 Apr 2010
So I avoided this movie for 15 years. Heard mixed reviews about it from peers plus Castaway was pretty bad for Tom Hanks. Boy I missed it cause this movie was intense. If looking for a dramatic and suspenseful movie then Apollo 13 delivers.
First 30 min setup of the characters were well developed that once in space there was an emotional investment of wondering if the astronauts were getting home. If anything fitting a square into a circel peg was definitely a mind boggling puzzle.
