They come into his village, burn down his house, threaten his family, and take him captive. Now he's out for revenge!
Actually there's a lot more to it than that. But anyone who just wants "First Blood" Mayan-style won't make it through the 2+ hours or the subtitles. For those of us with an attention span, this is a beautiful film. And yes, it's horribly bloody, but Mel was never one to leave things up to the imagination.
