Review of Apocalypto (2006) by Joe N — 11 Feb 2011

5 out of 5 stars. No matter what people say or think about Mel Gibson, he is talented when it comes to creating his visions and ideas within movies. Apocalypto features a Mayan civilization and even though not one world of English is spoken during the film, the personalities, interactions, sense of humor, and dynamics among the people are engaging.

Additionally, the violence and non-stop action and adventure keep a person on the edge of their seat. This is one of few movies I can watch over and over again and still become glued to the TV as if it were the first time I have seen this masterpiece.
