Review of Apocalypto (2006) by Ryan Gibbons — 14 May 2011
It's got great visuals, the directing is good, and the soundtrack and techniques are good. The movie is pretty good overall but it manages to accomplish all of these things while having very little substance to it.
The story, the acting, and the enigmatic themes are very....enigmatic and I really did not care to solve the puzzles.
