REALLY good movie...except for the end. Every historian knows the Mayan classic culture mysterious declined c.900 AD, and the Spaniards arrived mid-16th century AD...I think Mel Gibson forgot it was the Aztec that welcomed the Spaniards and were destroyed by them.
Besides that flaw, the movie was excellent. One of the best in regards to the surround sound.
