An ambitious and magnificent spectacle of visceral energy, Apocalytpo might just be the best movie of Mel Gibson's directorial carer. It's gritty, terrifically shot, and filled to the brim with energy and tension from beginning to end.
Whether or not it's seen as a historical epic or an adventure film, Apocaltypo is a movie sure to leave an impression.
