It took thirty-five years and the blu-ray disc "Full Disclosure" Edition to finally clear up the confusion about what originally appeared to be multiple endings - but it was easily worth the wait.
This film, in its Cannes Palme d'Or version, the 1979 theatrical release version, or 2001's extended "Redux" version - continues its rise to the top of many informed all-time best picture lists.
Any discussion and analysis of this Francis Ford Coppola masterpiece is time well spent.
