Review of Apocalypse Now (1979) by Rupert B — 06 Jul 2014
Coppola manages to evoke the horror of war and Vietnam by creating what is arguably the greatest film ever. Featuring some pitch-perfect acting, amazing visuals, and a haunting yet illuminating score/soundtrack that helps to expose the nature of the film itself, Apocalypse Now gets the very rare perfect score from me, and is one of my favorite films of all time.
10/10.
