Apocalypse now is a disturbing and intense look into the Vietnam war, showing the brutality of the war the harshness of the terrain and the psychologal effects it had on the soldiers there, and with incredible directing by Coppola, fantastic writing by millius, haunting soundtrack, and the phenomal performances from the entire cast this is easily one of, if not the greatest, war film of all time.
