Review of Apocalypse Now (1979) by Mark A — 21 Jan 2017
I saw this movie a long time ago in high school and honestly didn't like it very much. If anything, it confused me. Fast forward years later and I watched it again. This time I finally got it. This is honestly one of the best war movies I've ever seen.
From the cinematography to the atmosphere, from the performances to the script, this is virtually perfect. It may be confusing for some (like younger me), but this is definitely worth a watch if you are really into cinema.
There's a reason this is so highly lauded.
