Great war film! A very convincing and riveting look into the Vietnam war based on the disturbing and controversial book Heart of Darkness. The Redux includes many scenes that add more commentary on the war, which I think is the ideal viewing compared to the original 1979 theatrical version which is still fine, but less thought provoking.
I can see why this movie is so well liked and has a place in cinematic history.
