Review of Anywhere but Here (1999) by Linh C — 27 Feb 2008
A wonderful film about learning to let go of those you love. Sort of "if you love them, set them free" in a mother/daughter relationship. Love the quirky and eccentricity Susan Sarandon brings to her character and is sexy to boot.
Natalie Portman is fantastic as the daughter who is smothered with love and protection from her Mother and needs to live her own life. A fun and at times humourous film.
