(1980) Any Which Way You Can.
COMEDY.
If people liked the first "Every Which Way But Loose" of two, they will expect more of the same form this second installment which has no plot but has to be enjoyed in terms of segments with of course the orangutang Clyde and the clumsy motorcyle gang stealing the film. This time has Eastwood and company being provoked to bout this supposedly ace street boxer for money and bragging rights. This one as well as the last installment is also one of few films that didn't have Eastwood portraying ex- girlfriend Sandra Locke as a victim of an assault! The sole idea of this series came from Walter Hill's "Hard Times" which is also about a street boxer!
3 out of 4.
