Review of Any Given Sunday (1999) by Brad M — 05 Sep 2010

I view this movie like most Oliver Stone movies: there are moments where I think "this man is a genius" and moments where I think "this guy has no clue." I love the inside look at the world of football (or at least the attempt), but at times it feels like a rash generalization.

Surely not EVERY player is like this? Also, there is no attention to detail. Stone is obviously not a football fan, and that's fine, but nothing is realistic. It's all very whimsical. Entertaining, but over the top.
