Review of Any Given Sunday (1999) by Jourdan C — 27 Oct 2010
A more realistic and different approach to a football film. This isn't your typical underdog story where you got a loser who becomes a somebody. This film mainly focuses on the lives of the players and how they deal with their problems, power, money, peer pressure, and all kinds of things that athletes may encounter with.
It's not a great film, nor terrible. Nothing really remarkable about this, however I do appreciate it more than other of those typical cliche football films. A great cast too may I add.
