I actually saw this at the Bloor Cinema with an original Anvil fan in attendance. Great film really about 2 best friends from Toronto who maybe with the right management and a bit of luck might have made it as big as Maiden or Priest but for some reason never did.
On the surface seems like a real life version of Spinal tap,( my favourite moment is when CT the sound engineer actually cranks the sound to 11 no doubt a post Spinal Tap inspired idea) but really is about the enduring friendship of "Lips" Kutlow and Robb Reiner (not Meathead).
Having recently watched the Maiden doc Flight 666, you see a marked contrast between their success and Anvil's relative lack of success. Really is quite a touching story.
