Review of Anvil! The Story of Anvil (2008) by Murdo M — 08 Sep 2009

This is a really sad story, although having said that my friend and I sat there for the first 5-10min laughing so much we were crying because this smacked of Spinal Tap type humor so much. Once it got into more of the serious document storytelling we did realise that it is just sad.

I ended up feeling most sorry for the family's of these guys and whilst I appreciate that this band is good and is incredibly tight to listen to with some good music, there is a part of me that thinks they should have just given up and got on with the rest of their lives.

But then you've got to pursue your dreams....
