Review of Anvil! The Story of Anvil (2008) by Ojas V — 23 Oct 2009
Maybe I have a soft spot for metal, since as a kid I was obsessed with rock, and went to many ozzfests....but this was a great film about the spirt of rock and roll, and how it can break you down. There is so much humour, tension, and even some triumph.
...all told at a great pace, with extremely interesting characters, the lead singer LIPS and Robb Reiner (no relation to meathead). Sure their music hasn't aged well, but there was a time when they were the envy of others.
...its difficult leaving glory behind. But these guys don't quit, and its hilarious......
