Review of Anvil! The Story of Anvil (2008) by Robert I — 23 Nov 2009
I've never heard of this movie much less the band before the day I saw this doc. I spent most of the movie not even believing this was real. However, I have a soft spot for underdogs and "Anvil" is the lowest of mutts.
Their comeback is a disaster, but at least my people appreciated them enough to show up. Did they even know who they were? I doubt it. But because I found myself rooting for them, documentary, I dub thee successful.
