Anvil, a metal band from Canada, emerged on the scene around the same time as Metallica, Anthrax and Slayer. Yet despite their influence on their peer, they never achieved big time success. Now in their 50's, long time friends Robb Reiner and Steve "Lips" Kudlow still struggle to keep the band alive against all odds.
Alternatively amusing and heartrendingly moving, the film is a testament to Kudlow's unending optimism. Recommended for dreamers of all ages.
