More interesting than entertaining. At the end of the day though, you do end up hoping they catch a break, no matter how unlikely it may seem.
From the music they did play though, I think ultimately the problem the band had was Lips. I get the feeling anytime someone brought up the possibility of a different singer, he went stark, raving mad and it was tabled...and really, their sound was good, the music was good...but the singing was bush league. Probably what held them back.
