Spinal Tap, but with real people. As hilarious and heartbreaking as that sounds. Perhaps the most intriguing point the film raises is the idea that talent alone will get you nowhere. Say what you will about Anvil's musical style, within their genre, they write solid, solid songs, and it's easy to see how revolutionary it must have been in their heyday.

With the right management, production and exposure, we might include Anvil with the likes of Sabbath, Metallica, Kiss, etc. I'll tell you one thing: "Metal on Metal" is a jam.
