A very "real" movie...almost "too" real, because it is pretty much a downer story for much of the movie! Still, it seems to tell the truth in a mostly candid and unedited fashion, which I give everyone involved with the project credit for.
Perhaps unsurprisingly, being a Metallica fan, one of the things I enjoyed the most about the DVD was the extended interview with Lars!; that said, this was an interested documentary about a band that I (and, apparently, many others) was not familiar with before seeing it.
