Review of Anvil! The Story of Anvil (2008) by Richard D — 30 Dec 2010
I've seen a couple of music docs that had the old 'Spinal Tap for real' marketing line, but with Anvil it's incredible how spot on that description is. There's something painfully tragic about these guys still soldiering on, but while there are laughs to be had you find yourself carried along by their passion for it and the friendship at the band's core.
A brilliantly touching, inspiring movie that should be seen by everyone regardless of music taste.
