* Some great scenes. I read of some people thinking this was a.
Mockumentary and I can easily see that.
* The manager love subplot was thankfully kept in the background.
* The volatile character he was. Roughing up the guy in the bar and the the meltdown.
* The Producer was quite the character during this meltdown.
* The telemarketing scene was fantastic. Expertly worked in and also.
Helps get a closer look at their fans.
* Saved by the Japanese. The framing device lead to the final twist.
* It was certainly funny and serviceable. It could have gone in any of.
Numerous directions, but went down the path of failed dreams. In some.
Ways I felt like I watched three or four documentaries compressed into.
One. I never really felt sympathy for Lips even though the documentary.
Was laying on that angle quite thickly.
