This is no mock-doc joke. Director Sacha Gervasi deftly introduces us to irrepressible frontman Steve 'Lips' Kudlow and his ever-suffering lifelong sidekick Robb Reiner (seriously), who were and remain fine musicians but simply never quite caught on.
