Review of Anuvahood (2011) by Jeremy H — 03 Apr 2011
Clearly this is a piss take of Adulthood. And while thats a great idea, because lets face it who likes chav's?, it doesn't quite hit the spot. Some lines are achingly funny sure but some are utterly cringeworthy.
The Spanish kid? Pointless they just could have inserted a posh kid into it instead. And considering the main star of the film was actually in Kidulthood it's confusing as to why he would agree to this blatant piss take.
Still for its no brains plot it sure is fun if irritating. Rickie Campbell (Tyrone) deserves to be a big star though the guy is brilliant. Also look out for cameo roles from Richard Blackwood and Levi Roots.
And an ex Big Brother house mate.
