Review of Antz (1998) by Tom V — 29 Jun 2011
Antz is a masterpiece in the animation genre. It contains stunning visuals, great humour, some brilliant scenes, and very likeable characters. But the films suffers from splitting the entertainment, and humour into two different categories.
Though it's a children's film, both the dialogue and humour are too mature for the audience it was intended to entertain. It's a step in the right direction, but Antz, could have been so much more.
