Review of Antz (1998) by Samuel H — 29 Jun 2014
Antz shows Woody Allen's character to a tee. With Allen, you either love him or you hate him. And unfortunately some people are incapable of seeing Woody Allen's wit, self reflection, and sarcasm as funny.
Instead they hear a wining brat, which is a complete misunderstanding of character. With that being said, Antz is quite clever. Especially in it's use of props and animations. But, with that being said, be forewarned, this is clearly a Woody Allen movie (Even though he surprisingly didn't direct it).
