Never saw this movie cuz I thought it was just another angsty teen movie... I ended up having to see it for a class and it turned out to be an excellently written, directed and executed film. The acting was extraordinary, and that's saying a lot since I usually feel Denzel overacts way too much.
Simply put, it's a beautiful, moving and emotional story about rising above evil trials and tribulations.
