Review of Antwone Fisher (2002) by Allen B — 20 May 2009
I found a lot of the knowledge I've learned in my psych classes to be very useful in this movie. Very, very sad movie. It's about Antwone's search for consolation of his terrible childhood.
He winds up searching for his family and has a finally has a chance to close some of the issues he's been internally fighting. Believe me, if you have childhood issues, this movie has the power to make all those past mishaps surface on your conscious.
It'll leave you thinking and thinking long after the movie is over and done with.
