Review of Antonia's Line (1995) by Luiserghio M — 22 Mar 2010
Stirring, multi-generational saga of women coping with the violence that men have wrought. O.K., I'm a man and I'm not damning us as a gender, but we have been the aggressive ones and not always in a constructive way.
Anyway, superb acting in a timeless story of those who pay the price of man's folly while holding society together in the aftermath. And no, I am not a feminist--I would categorize myself, rather, as a humanist.
