Saw in NY at the Brazilian Film Festival (Moma), where the director introduced the film herself the first day of the festival. Its the story of a band of girls from the favelas in Rio; band slowly disintegrates as the usual socio-econ problems catch up with them; gets back together.
Great music. Received a standing ovation.
