Review of Antiviral (2012) by Rob K — 15 Oct 2012
This one's an effective horror drama that could possible be the biggest error in the MPAC's(Motion Picture Association of Canada) history. Never in my life have I seen a PG rated movie with so much blood vomit, violent body effects, and full body nudity.
This is a Cronenberg Horror Drama that Brandon's father is sure to be proud of. Filled with the evolution of our current celebrity obsession, Brandon Cronenberg's filled his debut with lots of his father's classic body horror moments with a few tricks of his own while all incapsulated in an unsettling drama set in the future.
Not to mention the great performance by Caleb Landry Jones(Most recently known as Banchee from "X-Men First Class) which the film centres around as we watch his decline. All in all, this probably will not be out in theatres long, so catch it if you can, but if not, defiantly check this one out when it hits the shelves.
