Definitely original and creepy (human celebrity steaks, who knew?). The parody is obvious but as others said it drags on way too long to the point where I really didn't care what happened in the end.

To me the main character was actually celebrity obsession and Syd is just the avatar of those who take it to an insane level of either worshiping them or profiting from them.
