Review of Antiviral (2012) by Mark G — 23 Dec 2013
It may be possible that this movie was a little too out there for me to really absorb and enjoy. I feel like I can hear the writer of this idea at a party telling everyone his crazy theories based on the world today shoveling ideas like "I bet one day people will be so obsessed with celebrities and fame that they would even buy a sickness that their favourite celebrity had, like come on can we even be any more stupid and obsessive.".
I am not saying the the premise is entirely benign am just saying that the idea for this whole film seems to be from someone who spends too much time obsessing over the statistical future. Personally I got a little bored and enjoyed some bejeweled on my phone but all in all I would have to say the entire thing is just a teeny tiny bit too crazy for me.
