Review of Antitrust (2001) by Bryan A — 16 Sep 2008
Feel the charisma, indignant rage, and bland non-acting of a past boy band member as he takes down "The Man" by typing line upon line of code with a look of faux intensity smeared across his face.
Seriously, the plot's convoluted and full of holes and our hero reeeaaaally can't act. to their credit the villain can act and so can one of the two attractive females who follow the hero around.
This movie is kind of a primer for what most of the comp-sci's I've met want out of life: beautiful women follow around a "brilliant" programmer who gets paid a lot to type, and the icing on the cake is that we're supposed to think it's exciting.
Dream on folks.
