Review of Antitrust (2001) by Joe H — 25 May 2010
A total guilty pleasure. Ryan Phillipe stars as a computer geek who gets to work at Synapse software, the world's biggest software company run by Tim Robbins, doing a very hilarious Bill Gates impersonation.
. but of course, it's NOT Bill Gates, because in the movie Robbins and Phillipe talks about what a nobody Gates is. Anyways, since Phillipe is working for the bad guys, he discovers, gasp, that they're REALLY bad guys, and he doesn't know who to trust! Bad guy needs to be taken down! Oy oy oy, so much fun.
Obvious plot devices are thrown out by the bushel, and much goofiness by Robbins. Loveeeeeee it!
