Review of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania (2023) by Cris21 — 18 Feb 2023
It is not as good as the two previous Ant-Man movies, mainly because it struggles to adapt the Quantum Realm, and ends up been like a Star Wars movie, and not a Marvel one. Also, Kang story is so confusing, if he was so dangerous, and his other variants locked him there, why Scott Lang was able to kill him? But there is still plenty of good things, like Paul Rudd and Michelle Pfeiffer’s performances, Kathryn Newton is incredible as Cassie Lang, her daughter-father relationship is one of the highlights of the film.
Vissual Effects are great and even if it was strange sometimes, MODOK was terrific. In the post credit scene, why there are so many Kangs, is because Sylvie kill the variant controlling them, but why do they locked one of them in the Quantum Real? I still can’t figure that out, the Kang variant in Loki said that a multiversal war was coming if he died, but the variants still locked the “most dangerous one”.
