Overbearing in its usual plotting and spartan in whatever details could make it unique. The cop-out climax robs some dramatic heft with the wave of magic hands (without the courtesy of misdirection), but the preceedings leading to it make for an enjoyable flight of fancy free, keystone cop heroism.
