Review of Ant-Man and the Wasp (2018) by Lyndon C — 27 Aug 2018
Ant-man and the Wasp is a decent sequel to the original, it doesn't have a world shattering story line like Infinity War but the consequences of that film are referenced in the first of the post credit scenes.
I actually enjoyed this even more than the first, it was a fun film with lots of laughs and some great action set pieces. Sometimes it's good to see one of these movies that lives on it's own somewhat and doesn't rely on being connected with all other events in the biggest of Marvel's roster of movies.
The story follows Hank Pym's discovery of a way back into the quantum realm to retrieve his wife Janet van Dyne only there are others who seeks the tech and so a race begins to secure what is needed before Janet is lost forever.
The team up worked well between Paul Rudd and Evangeline Lily and I thought Michelle Pfeiffer was spot on casting for Janet. Worth seeing if you enjoyed the first.
