Review of Ant-Man and the Wasp (2018) by Lager96 — 16 Jul 2018
Ant-Man and the Wasp is a great stand along movie. While it doesn't connect much to the MCU as a whole, it is a fun time and worth a watch. After Infinity War we needed a light hearted and fun film which is exactly what this is.
The daughter, played by Abby Ryder, is great and steals every scene she is in. The villains are are ok and one of them is basically useless and could have been taken out of the film entirely. The action is well done and the choreography is spot on.
There is a lot to like about this film and the ending hints at what is to come, which is really exciting to think about. This film shows that Marvel really cannot make a bad film and continues to succeed with each release.
